FAQs for Upgrading to Firefly
Do I have to sign a contract to begin with Firefly?
Definitely not! You can sign up for a free trial now, and once you activate your account you can cancel at any time. We are very confident in our product and see no need to lock customers in!
How will my pricing change?
All Firefly plans include all features and unlimited support. Check out Firefly's pricing here. Firefly has a $3.50 service fee for each new reservation that can be passed on to the guest and you pay nothing!
Can I keep my payment processor?
The majority of Astra Campground Manager users will be able to transition with your credit card processor, but there may be some exceptions. Firefly currently works with 3 payment processors: BridgePay, BASYS, and Stripe. HERE is a link with info about each processor including their rates and how to go about connecting to each processor in Firefly.
How do I get my current data and reservations in Astra Campground Manager moved into Firefly?
If you are on Astra, our team will use an automated tool to transfer the majority of your Astra Park's data directly into Firefly for you. This tool automatically enters your Astra data into Firefly to help make the move fast and easy. Most pieces of data are able to be transferred over, however, there are some differences between the two systems and some data will need to be entered manually.
If you are on Classic Campground Manager, our team will transfer your reservations and guest info data into Firefly. We will also provide you one-on-one training to help you complete your park's set up in Firefly.
If I upgrade from Astra to Firefly, will I still have access to my Astra transaction history and data?
No need to worry, you will have full access to the transactions history and data for 3 months after upgrading to Firefly. During this time, you will need to request reports of the data you want before Astra Campground Manager access is removed.
When I upgrade to Firefly, how long will I still have access to my Astra system?
The goal is to have a date where we turn on Firefly after a “demo” period and turn off Astra to avoid data duplication and re-work. We will work with you directly to produce reporting to help you continue to run your business. While the old system will be deactivated, we will have everything backed up in case of emergency.
What Does the Future Look Like for Astra?
Will you be developing new features and improving Astra Campground Manager?
With Firefly being the go forward option, our development team will be continually improving and adding new and enhanced features to Firefly. Astra will have a maintenance and fixes only focus from a development perspective.

You will continue your service with Astra Campground Manager and our friendly support team you've come to love. While we wish we could say Astra will be around forever, Firefly is our go forward system, and this means that new product features and development focuses will be focused solely on Firefly.
