A “Locally Hosted” system means you are responsible for providing the server on which the park data will reside. You must also setup and maintain a Local Area Network (LAN) if you require more than one workstation to access the data at the same time. You will also be responsible for backing up the data and updating the software when new releases are available.
With SaaS we host the data for you on a secure server located on the internet (cloud computer). We also back up your data and are responsible for updating the software. You must only provide a computer, a printer, and reliable internet connectivity.
